With the door closed on the year that was 2008, it has come to that time of year again when we all decide to make New Year’s resolutions that we will never keep.
GameDaily has put together a list of its own resolutions for game developers for 2009, which is more or less a summary of what the gaming industry can do to improve itself over the coming months. The article itself covers the industry as a whole and not just MMO’s, however the one it did make for the MMO side of things targeted one title.
The resolution? Simply “Beat World of Warcraft“.
As stated by GameDaily, there were a couple of excellent attempts over yesteryear with the likes of The Lord of the Rings Online and Warhammer Online. Though 2009 is bringing some new and exciting titles for us all to look forward to and maybe one of those will be enough to knock the 11.5 million subscriber strong World of Warcraft off of the top spot.
