This week, I have done something that I swore I would never do, and that’s reinstall World of Warcraft on my PC. Realizing I still had some game time left from when I cancelled my subscription and after much persuasion to come and join our Lead Blogger Sarah, I thought I’d give it a go and see what all the fuss was about with Winter Veil, having never actually played at this time of year in the entire time I played the game.

For those of you that are as uninitiated as I am with these festivities, they’re running from December 15th to January 2nd. This year they come with one addition though - Achievements.

If you can complete every achievement from all of the holidays in a year, you will also be eligible for the achievement, What a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been, which rewards you with a Violet Proto-Drake.
