I don’t know about you guys but I for one have had countless fun experiences with the cute little vanity item in WoW called the Iron Boot Flask. Can’t say that it has any sexy abilities, unless being turned into an Iron Dwarf for 10 minutes every hour turns you on! At this point I am staring heavily at my guild mate Zigg, who spends a good chunk of our progression raids getting a tad too excitable over the transformation. It would not be the first time I see random quotes of “This boss is so going down! The MT is a ninja, and Zigg is a Dwarf!” right before we run in for battle. Fun times!

But with the upcoming changes to the item in 3.0.8, I imagine many of those who enjoy the vanity aspect of the game will be rushing out to purchase a restock before the servers go down later tonight. At present only 10 Relics of Uldar are needed to pick up one of these delights, but now that it has been confirmed that the soulbound status of the Relics is to be lifted, so is the amount needed for the Flask. One Iron Boot Flask is now to set us back a depressingly high level of 250 Relics of Uldar, however the 1 charge per flask level has now been switched to a sexy infinite number of chargers!

I for one have spent my 10 Relics today to have a hold of the Flask pre-patch. With the changes to the Sons of Hodir rep now allowing turn-ins of the relics for reputation (250 for 10), not sure any sane person before exalted would waste them on their Flask (well except maybe Zigg!).

With only hours to go before the update, I shall be running to make sure all my fellow guildies go and purchase them. My personal goal is to persuade the full raid to be transformed for our next boss kill just for the sheer comedy factor! Free pat on the back for the first to spot the Dwarf in this Kel’Thuzad run we had a few weeks ago!
